Uncovering the Undiscovered

Jacob (Jake) Kettell-Musial has been a researcher his whole life. Long before he held a P.I. license, he was digging — sometimes literally. He studied history and anthropology, worked as an archaeological field and lab technician, and conducted intensive archival research. When he began working as an investigator, the value of his research skills in his new field became immediately apparent.

Over the years, Jake has repeatedly located people and information other investigators couldn't find. He has worked on a wide variety of civil and criminal matters, including a number of high-profile wrongful conviction cases.

He founded Hermes Investigations to bring that same careful, research-driven approach to every client — whether the matter is a wrongful conviction, a civil rights claim, a trademark dispute, estate litigation, or a personal injury case.
